Highland Experience is pleased to offer you a fantastic and enjoyable day out visiting Scotland's most important castle, its largest expanse of fresh water and one of its finest distilleries
Your journey will take you past Linlithgow, the summer palace of the Royal Stewart Dynasty, and birthplace of the famous Mary Stuart Queen of Scots. Travelling further west you'll stop for a visit at Stirling Castle. This is Scotland's most strategic fortress, and the renaissance playboy pad of Scottish Kings
Lunch is taken on the shores of bonnie Loch Lomond, Britain's largest expanse of fresh water and ancient water bridge to the land of Clans MacFarlane and MacGregor. Work off the haggis with a short stroll in the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park
Finally, enjoy a visit to one of Scotland's finest whisky distilleries, Glengoyne. Here you will take a tour of a working distillery which produces gallons of the 'water of life'. You will see the production process and have an opportunity to taste the finished product!
