King Arthurs Last Battle Festival

3rd August 2007

Do you know your Arthur from your Merlin and your Guinevere from your Lancelot?

Get the full story here with us as we visit some of the places most closely associated with the man himself.

Tintagel, one of the most spectacular testimonies to Britain's great history and the perfect location to find out more about King Arthur and his last battle against his evil son Mordred.

Glastonbury, the widely known home of Avalon, Arthur's final resting place...

On this three day spectacular we'll take you to the incredible Cheddar Gorge to walk amongst the clouds in our very own version of the Grand Canyon, Britain's largest and most breathtaking gorge. You even get the option to fight the fire breathing dragon!! Follow 274 steps up the hillside each representing a million years in the making of the gorge.

Then we'll take you to the site of King Arthur's last battle and supposed home to the Knights of the Round Table, Tintagel where we'll witness a local festival and a live re-enactment of this fierce and fatal battle.

Finally we'll visit ancient Glastonbury and climb Glastonbury Tor to see the wonderful views from the top.

King Arthur - Man or Legend, you decide!
